Thirty3RPM Productions

We recently just started working with T-shirt designs. We ran a two-day promo for free T-shirt designs to get some portfolio items. So far we added one of the T-shirt designs to the ‘Print Design’ page on the main site. There will be more to come in the future.

Also, we updated the ‘Web Design’ page to include the design we made for Melonnie Kelly (www.melonnieinhaiti.com). Free WordPress accounts are limited in customization but we made it work.

Finally its here, Thirty3RPM Productions 3.0! This is a complete redesign and restructure of the site. This new design focuses on simplicity and ease of use. I hope you all like it.

The site is finally done, with many new features and expansions.

The following is a list of all the new changes and additions:

• New “Video” section
• Expanded Print design and Web Design pages
• Expanded Audio Production to include Artist contact information and purchase links
• Improved overall unity of the subpages and content
• Improved modular design
• Optimized text and images
• Improved navigation coherence
• Optimized PHP scripts and CSS
• Cleaner directory-based structure

Hopefully the new changes will help the site as a whole. The work took longer to complete than I had originally intended, but I am pleased with the end result. The video section is incomplete as Thirty3RPM Productions is still working to expand into that world. Let me know what you guys think of the new site structure.

Well It started out okay, then I decided to install Joomla onto the server and try to learn how to use it. That was a mistake. Joomla is an extremely powerful content management system but I wanted something simpler and easier to customize. So I tried to adapt the wordpress engine to work along with the site template that I was working on. That did work but it was very difficult and just about as easy as manually updating the pages locally and re-uploading them. Eventually I will probably try to write my own simple cms for the pages but for now it is going to stay PHP manually.

I am still developing the site and hopefully the full site will be launched by the end of the week. The design is still open to change and will probably be finalized by Wednesday (Just when I will be sick of looking at it) and I will work on the content.

This blog is set to recieve a custom template tailored to look similar to the main website that is set to happen by the end of this or next week. For now, you can check out the good ol’ Myspace and add me there.

Currently I am in the process of designing a logo for the Thirty3RPM Produtions project. I would like your feedback on the current ideas which can be found below. There are several iterations of the design, please let me know which one you think will work the best!

Once I decide on a logo I will begin building the actual site (and posting it in the blog) and keep you updated.
